Join MPM on Friday, May 18 and explore the mysterious Mayan ruins at this action-packed overnight expedition! Sharpen your archaeology skills to make an exciting discovery or unlock an unsolved mystery. Overnight includes entrance to our newest traveling temporary exhibit Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed.

Think you know all there is to know about mummies? Unwind the mysteries of mummies from around the world at this exciting Overnight on Friday, January 19! Learn how to make your own mummy, the secrets behind why mummies were made, and stories of the people who made them.

SOLD OUT - February Overnight: Dinosaurs

Get ready to take a giant dinosaur-sized step back in time!  At our dinosaur-themed Overnight on February 23, you'll have the chance to handle real dinosaur bones, learn about the work of MPM's paleontologists, make something to take home, and explore the Museum after-hours.  Join us for a great night of unique experiences and fun learning!  

Adventure Seekers Week-long Camp

When: Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Cost per camp: $300, $275 members
What to bring: Please provide your child’s lunch and drink each day in an insulated bag labeled with their name.
Who can come: Camps can only be attended by registered campers. Chaperones, unregistered siblings, or friends are not permitted to attend.

Early Explorers Camps for K4 & K5

MPM offers a variety of early learning camps for children entering K4 or K5 in Fall 2017. Butterflies, dinosaurs, jungle animals, and stars are a just a few of the exciting topics our early explorers will discover. These one-day morning or afternoon camps provide ample opportunities for our campers to have fun and be creative while learning about their world.

Lunch & Lecture

Get a taste of some of the great research happening in Milwaukee during our Lunch & Lecture presentations. Take an optional guided pre-lecture docent tour, explore the topic du jour with an MPM curator or special guest, and if you’re hungry for more, stay for a great lunch.
