The Milwaukee Public Museum "comes to life" during our Alive! events, where visitors get the chance to talk to costumed interpreters and participate in an array of hands-on activities.

In European Village Alive! this December, learn about European holiday traditions from our costumed interpreters! Hear carolers from Crystal Lake Central High School perform your favorite holiday songs on Saturday, December 2 from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Science on Tap

We’re exploring the space where science and culture intersect, and we’re doing it over drinks. 

This evening social lecture series features some of the best minds in science. From the sensation of being hugged by an octopus to quantum mechanics, Science on Tap looks to answer questions you never knew you had!

Wisconsin Stargazing

Take a live tour of the current Wisconsin night sky in this 22-minute guided Planetarium program. A lively astronomy educator will show you all of the current sights on a clear Dome Theater “sky,” such as planets, constellations, meteors, and other fun celestial phenomena. The program includes a cosmic Q&A session and requests from the audience.
